I am not sure about the answer. It depends on how close you are to finding the new position. Once you find a new position, speak with attorney for new company. In worst case can always do H1 extension in premium. If I were you, I would just have a hard dead line of say April end. If I dont find a new job by then, would just file for extension in premium.

I am 15 years old travelling alone on American Airlines from Toronto YYZ, Canada to Delhi, India via Chicago ORD. Will there be any problems for a 15 year old travelling alone.

Two I140 in process with a difference of one years in the priority date (one original and one recently filled substitution with improved PD). Which I-140 should be used for I485. IF PD goes back to retrogration, the substitution would help with a risk of getting reject as well. The original I140 has less risk but if PD goes in retrogration, it might get years to get I-485 approve. Suggestions?
I asked this question to my lawyer and he said he would including info about both I-140's and they USCIS will chose one. I am not sure what it would depend on but my lawyer is knowledge and he said I would not to pick on. I believe I would get the earlier PD if the pending I-140 is approved

Hello,
I am an F1 visa student and am marrying my sweetheart who is an American citizen. We are planning to pick up the marriage license tomorrow, in MA. I know one of the questions is "residence". Do I put my local residence (I've been here for about 6 years) or my foreign residence? I do not want to jeopardize my status.

You have answered your own question. This immunization protects you from most forms of TB and causes you to have a positive skin test since you have antibodies in your system to attack the PPD test ingredients when they are put under your skin.
Not sure why you are worried about it? This is no different from the other vaccinations you were given as a child that you had no choice on.
I am from the UK and every child was given the BCG vaccine for decades, normal course of growing up.

Recently , a friend of mine who lost his job while on EAD had these questions.
1. He has EAD and H1B both valid till 2010. What should he use to get a jbo, ead ot h1b, what are some of the good reasons to avoid using ead as ar as possible?
2. Is he eligible for unemployment allowance.

A lot of people have filed on July 2 and still haven't received their FP notice while my husband and I filed July 6 and we're scheduled for FP tomorrow. My brother who filed on July 26 also received his FP notice last Friday. USCIS is really unpredictable nowadays so who knows how long it takes to generate FP notices. Hopefully you'll get yours soon too. :o

Change the I140 to premium processing. If you are at your end of 6th year and if you have less than six month in your visa, you can apply for premium processing.

I was working on H1B from Sep 2002 till Jan 2006 and then converted to H4 based on my husband's H1B. No green card was started for my H1B. My husbnad's GC is in progress, but not even the labor is cleared as of now. I have been in the US on H visa (either H4 or H1B) starting from April 27'2002. Hence when my H1B (the second extension after 3 yrs) came back in 2005, it had an expiration date of April 26 2008 (allotting 6 yrs of H visa).
I would like to apply for jobs next year, but I understand the earliest I can start is Oct 2007, if I get an H1B sponsorship. In this event, what happens after April 2008, do I have to leave the country, or is it possible that the company that hires me starts a GC process for me in October 2007, but still my labor wouldnt have been pending for at least 1 yr, to get me an extension.

So I've been out of school for just about 3 weeks now and haven't done much shooting lately. Took the family up into the mountains today and grabbed the camera and a 50mm lens...nothing else (including the spare battery that I'd need soon after :mad: ). Anyway, I couldn't get a decent shot of anything that I "saw". Very disappointing to say the least.
Now, This is the best of about 10 shots I was able to take before I needed the aforementioned spare battery. My fault, I didn't check the charge level and I forgot the spare....whoops.
Anyway, while walking through the woods, this stump caught my eye. I'm not entirely sure why, but it did. Now here I am looking at a photo of a stump. It's a nice enough stump, I suppose and might be nicer if that branch to the right wasn't there but I'm curious to see if I'm going crazy or if there's anything actually worthwhile in this shot (something more than a snapshot- but not by much.)

The H-2B non-agricultural temporary worker program allows U.S. employers to bring foreign nationals to the United States to fill temporary non-agricultural jobs. Any unused numbers from the first half of the fiscal year will be made available for use by employers seeking to hire H-2B workers during the second half of the fiscal year. There is no �carry over� of unused H-2B numbers from one fiscal year to the next.
