what if a person changes his job immidiately after 485 approval and does not apply for citizenship until 6 years?

Ask your attorney to file an MTR. (ensure it done within 30 days of denial). When you file an MTR it sent back to the service center that had actually denied the petetion (in your case NSC) asking the IO to revisit his decsion (with any additional information that your attorney would add). If the IO is unable to make a decision, then he will refer your case to Administrative Appeals Unit.

hey no one checks if you really need it or not, maybe request one for MIL or whoever is more feeble. It always helps the first time. Getting in and out of planes and getting to right place at right time. (you are not charged anything for service, though some tip is always appreciated).

Thank for the reply. I hope the suggestions will be acted on and implemented at the earliest. It's frustrating to see that the priority dates haven't moved by a single day in last 6 months, something really needs to be done and I will do my support IV with anything.

Your employer is right. You will new H-1B visa stamp and re-entry into USA to get back H-1B status.
As i can work only 240 days from my I94 expiry date, i can't work after July 2010 so am planning to go to India to attend the embassy as soon as possible.

Hi,
I don't have surname in my Passport my full name is given in " Given Names".
so while filling up the form (D-156 and D-157) for appointment I put NA in surname, so now my name in "Applicant Name" is myname followed by NA.
IS it ok ? or does it create any problems while I go for visa stamping/interview.
If I cannot put NA then what do I put in Surname column on D-156 and D-157.

How do you find about yoru namecheck status? Does USCIS entertain such queries over the phone? Or it is through Infopass?
According to posts on the forums, they dont always give the NC status when we cal the cust service line, I was able to get the status when I called, guess it depends on the IO.
When i went with infopass for some other issue back in feb I was able to get the status without issues.

Why do we need Recapture more than DREAM ACT or with DREAM ACT?
