Since the Euro is higher than the dollar, I would say they prefer the EU. More profit per sold iDevice ;).
Personally I support this, it is not because I support this. I want to read a paper not being spammed with offers.

Can anyone recommend any software for converting vinyl records to digital format?

What about when you sign up for life insurance only to find out you cant get it because google sold your location to the insurance co. complete with logs of you going to (or near) the liquor store on a daily basis. Or the clinic.

How we appear should never be a criterion for how we are treated under law. Justice is supposed to be blind.
Is anyone here arguing that the way someone dresses does or should have a legal consequence in a rape situation? I haven't read every post, so perhaps someone is. Is treatment under the law the only aspect of this being discussed in this thread?

So Samsung believed Apple was violating it's patents all this time but decided to do nothing about it. Now that they have been pushed they decide to act. Sounds to me they are trying to find whatever they can to bite back at Apple.

I've just started checking out the Lynda.com training videos for Xcode 4 / ObjC
They are very well done, and start pretty entry level. I haven't seen anything specific to the iPhone, but looks like a good setup for someone getting into Xcode4 and ObjC.
I'll check later to see if they have something specific to iPhone dev.

For feature films and television these days, Final Cut is ABSOLUTELY the industry standard. Oh and in the 8 years I've lived in Hollywood, I never met one person in the industry who uses a Windows PC (maybe a writer or two).

Because Apple's solution cuts them out from general demographics information as well (for those that opt out).
And I have not seen on option in iOS to prevent Apple from using my data for general demographics they use to sell their iAds.
People get whipped into a frenzy just because somebody tells them to.

Only issue I want fixed is wifi. Disconnects a lot.
other than the regular router issues between devices of different manufacturers, there is an old wifi bug that dates back to the first ipad. when it goes to sleep it doesn't release the IP after the half life of the lease like it's supposed to according to open standards. the router ends up assigning it to another device

You charge peanuts you get greedy monkey IMHO. Pushing the price ups generally discourages the crappy clients in my experience, clients will generally pay what they think the service is worth (not just design here).

P.S. - love the peanuts/greedy monkey analogy. I think I'm learning the hard way, that there are indeed a lot of them out there. Someone needs to make an "Attack of the Greedy Monkey's" iphone app :)
