I am not sure why you all are all so worried about finger printing. No one is getting their GC anytime soon. PD for both EB2 and EB3 is either unavailable or in 2001. Even if FP takes a little while, don't worry.
I have a friend who never got finger printed till he got his GC. So relax.

I asked IV core on what version of immigration bill they support because I and other people wanted to know since there are so many amendments to the current immigration bill and Now I log in to see , the thread is missing, why, my question was straight forward, again I am asking them on what form of immigration bill they support. I highly doubt In what they are doing looks like they are working for the benefit of them self. Guys please don�t be ignorant and its your right to ask the question don�t be a dumb crowd but ask questions.
I am too in the same GC queue with I140 and I485 filed and pending, so don�t count me as anti � immigrant but also want to see the betterment of others too who are in GC process and will be effected due to the introduction of the new bill.

tax returns. I do not think they expect you to list all the addresses that you stayed during the year.
You will need to provide the address to the tax return where your state taxes were deducted for the most part of the year IMHO. But for your GC app, I am unsure.
Have you consulted your lawyer? Send a PM to pappu maybe. He may get some answers from the IV lawyers.

databases for CSC and NSC are aligned and then notices are sent automatically. Unless that happens one has to wait to get the FP notice.

I am also thinking to either file EB2-PERM or convert my current EB3-ROW Regular LC PD-04/2002 to PERM.
I received 45 day letter about six months ago. Do you think I should go with any of these options. Will appreciate ur comments

Point well taken. We will try to provide as much transparency as possible. But at the same time we need to make sure that we don't give away too much information to the opponents or give away the privacy of the contributors. So we will come up with a way to achieve this. There were many 245i applicants who filed under EB-3 category than EB-2 category. So EB-2 is less affected due to less 245i applicants and most of the problem is experienced in EB-3 categories.
We all should request congress, not to penalize us for playing by the rules and further request to exclude 245i visa numbers from regular quota.
I have already contacted the offices of Senators of my State & Rep. of House also. We all should contact our law makers.

I had a similar experience a long time ago with Madras consulate. At that time, the Officer returned all my documents back without an explanation and hardly asked me a questions. After 2 weeks or so - they send me a letter asking for copies of the all certificates to be submitted along with a letter saying that the case was being reffered to a AFU - Anti Fraud Unit. I send all my education certificates.
It then took them around 3.5 months to clear the application. They asked me to send the passport back with the application copy and I received it with a week with my H1 B stamp. Applied first in June first week and received the Visa around Sept.
This is obviously a traumatic experience for you. But you will be alright once they verify.
In my case, the educations documents were correct and true and it was verified - I do not know how they did it. It is a slow process and you ask for help from a local senator or your company to send a request letter to expedite the case and constantly follow-up with your lawyer who filed the H1 petition.
Also I had a valid B1 visa but I decided it was better to wait for the process to complete before I returned.

I actually did the stop payment back on the 14th and I have checked my account everyday and nothing...... Do you think they will reject it? I hate to lose the receipt date of July 2nd....
If there is no way you can stop the stop payment, then you should not get all anxious.
You were considering yourself lucky that your PD became current in July, unlucky that you filed a day too soon, but lucky that you came to know just in time, lucky that you still got your receipt, unlucky that you stopped payment, lucky that you have a second application in case your first one is rejected....
So you started being lucky and you might end up being lucky... Don't worry about all the unlucky episodes in between and hey, why worry about losing just 6 weeks of receipt date. Think about pre June-15th days :):)

I don't know how to explain this in any sensible way without sounding like a nitpicking pedand (but I can't just "not say it"), but my point about the "DOF is always the same for the same framing", was particularly to point out that wide-angle lenses are good for close-to-subject-and-crop, but it does NOT magically give you different focusing or DOF behaviour - it's still the same for the same framing of the subject.
Depending on the layout of the house, using a longer focal range can actually help - there is less rotation of the camera, and that means less change in distance to the subject, meaning that it's easier to get the focus - but that assumes large open areas in the house, which doesn't work well in some situations (my house has no place where you can see much more than about 15 feet in a straight line). It has an added advantage of "you stand further away, so you don't disturb the children quite so much".

My case was also transferred to CSC. The transfer notice has a different receipt date than the receipt notice. MY case is now transferred back to NSC.
I would like to know if anybody of you have received finger print notice. I have not received it yet.

I can't think of anything other than getting the company immigration lawyer's help in this case.
On another note, all of here with pending GC processes, should be ready to face the prospect of going back to our home countries. "Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst".

He is a July 2007 filer with PD of Nov 2003 and recently had his I485 rejected. Reason - I140 denied and no appeal. However, when he checks his I140 status, it says, its still pending. He had received an RFE on I140 in October 2007 about Employment status and he had submitted all the required evidence. He also is in the same company that filed his labor. The only change he ever made is moving to a new place in the same city. Does anyone have a similar experience? What needs to be done apart from consulting a good immigration attorney? Your advice will be much appreciated.

Call your employer and ask him for all these documents. These are agreements between your employer and client. He should have these.

i am kinda confused since i dont work for a consultant , also my company dont have a fixed client.
I work for on an in-house project which sells services online to different people. We dont go out and sell it, we dont do custom softwares, we help people in doing their paperwork and charge a little fees.
in this case who is our vendor and client. i am assuming that the employer and petitioner is my boss but i dont know who would the other two be

Just to add My I 140 approved from the first company.
You have two options in this situation.
1. File an amendment to the approved I-140 based on Merger / Acquisition
2. Once you got EAD, invoke AC 21 and can continue with your employer.
I was in your similar situation when my division is acquired and my attorney filed an I-140 amendment, as I do not want to use EAD. [H1 / H4 is duel intent and we can be still protected even if I-485 is denied! When we are not switching companies why to loose this advantage?]

I do not see any reason why uscis cannot give 3 year extension with ONLY 485 receipt and I-140 case number printout. With these, USCIS should be able to determine the priority dates and whether the person is retrogressed or not.
An actual case would be helpful.
I spoke to a reputable attorney and they said its possible to get 3 years extn. using the case number screen shot.

Paper filed AP in TSC on Oct 28th 2009 & received the document on Dec 24th 2009 by mail.
