25,000 members, every day request to raise $30,000.
Why not happening? Even every member contribute $2, it becomes $50,000.
The question comes to whom contribute? This web site does not belong to me. If some question is in my mind, I can't start a thread. Which individual/group it belongs to? Who can start a thread? For the last 2-3 days, I am trying to find answers.
How many members are active? Is it or the orders of tengths or hundreds or thousands?
If with 25,000 members, raising $30,000 is difficult, there is some problem. One of the problem defenetly it is not open - even I asked, how can I start a thread, I did not get answer.
I think, core team to get into action to motivate people - as an example I am now so much demotivatied that thinking not visiting this site.
Core team firefights members all the time and puts off flames and at the same time runs the organization. Their dedication has always been extremely high.

I spoke to one lawyer and he said I can respond to I-140 RFE myself if I know wht it is about.
If USCIS allows one to port I-1485 and approvable I-140 I am not sure what is all this mess about?

Is it advisable to put in a big % of your income into the retirement account. There seems to be a nearly 30% early withdrawal loss if you ever were to pull money early out of that prior to 60 years of age. So basically your own money will be lost.
Any ideas on this issue? It is not that I am planning to withdraw early but just for information purpose.
1)If you have a company match(if you contribute certain percentage company also contributes certain percentage towards the account) then it is wise to put money in 401K.
If not given the crappy funds offered by the 401K plan provider it is not a good idea.
2)Also don't go overboard with this 401K , don't put too much money , if you still want to invest there are other vehicles like Roth IRA.
3)Talk to qualified financial adviser instead of seeking advice from annonymous folks, especially when it comes to your money.

I use the rectangle marquee tool. I guess it all depends on personal preference. If you use the rectangle shape tool you will have to right click on the layer and hit "Rasterize Layer" to be able to edit the object.
If you use the marquee tool you just have to fill it with paint and everything is set.
Not to mention, if you use the shape tool, it automatically creates the shape on a new layer, but if you use the marquee tool, your fill color will end up on the layer you currently have selected.

Ok, Hold the CTRL key on your keyboard then click on the layer that contains your original rectangle.
Like where it says, make sure you have the marquee tool active in the tools menu on the left side, otherwise the rest won't work. The marquee tool is the first tool on the upper left hand side. It is a dotted rectangle.
Press the up arrow once and the left arrow once (on your keyboard)
Create a new layer...self explanitory
Fill it with white... self explanitory

Ordered ours & to be delivered in DC to another IV members address, as there was not enough time for it to be delivered to Seattle.

Hello All
My employer paid me for my 485 application,he gave me his personal checks in the name of uscis, i applied with those checks, now i hear that
"The Address Printed On your checks Must Match the adress given in work sheets[in 485]"
I am confused,will they accept the application,checks are not cashed yet,applied on july18th

USCIS is not required to return your adjustment of status applications within any timeframe. If your number becomes current before you receive your applications back, i suggest that you send in new applications and indicate on the I-485 that you submitted adjustment of status applications in July 2007 and have not yet received any correspondence from USCIS on the case.

I have this basic question. How would USCIS know that he had used EAD for the second job? As far as I know, the information submitted in I-9 doesn�t go to USCIS. During the H1 extension if he submits W2�s, Paystubs and all documents from the H1 employer alone, wouldn�t it get approved? Can anyone clarify this?

I got approval 2 years back. What I did is applied for EAD when my date is current in that months's bullettin. So they picked up my file and find my date is current, so they rejected my EAD application first and approved the GC. I have lost the EAD filing fee, but got a peace in mind (GC).

My wife came at JFK airport on AP in AI flight BOM to NYC. she did not have any issue at all.
She was on H1b until Aug 2008. After laid off she is on EAD and AP. She is not working since then.
I was worried that they may ask couple of questions but it was very smooth.

Hi all,
I have come to texas on a B1 to the client location. I stayed with my colleague who has a apartment here. When we left to office ( my first day ) .I made a mistake leaving my passport and others in apartment. .
I have applied and got a new passport .
I have applied for I-94 by filing I-102 . The processing dates are very slow for this . I only have a reciept of this and nothing.
I am leaving 3july next month...what need to be done....i dont even have a VISA.
And what needs to be done for B1 VISA.
I emailed the chennai US embassy but couldnt get any reply............
PLEAASE...HELP:(:confused:

My 2 cents.
If you employer accepts or lawyer accepts the porting the date then your friend can apply the EB2 priority date to EB3 date.
Means he/she can get EB2 with 2002. As per my knowledge it is possible. But please dont ask me the document. Check with google or some website for document.
